The district to provide the small-scale farmers with tractors to enable the production to grow into bigger scale to meet the demand capacity of the market.
Provision of different agricultural implements, working tools and equipment needed in the farming sector.
To provide good agricultural infrastructure to the small-scale farmers to enable production of good quality produce.

Continuously training the farmers to skill them for the production of good quality agricultural commodities that will meet the market standards in both vegetables and livestock.
Provision of knowledge on the business and financial management of farming i.e. crop production, poultry production and goat production.
Goats daily care and disease management, goat breeding and handling, marketing and transportation and feeding and medical care of goats.
Continuous monitoring programme in partnership with five local municipalities and sector departments.

Provision of different vegetables and crops with an aim of poverty alleviation in the communities within the district.
The initiative of food security programme activates communities to produce their own vegetables for consumption.
The initiative further enables healthy lifestyle and nutritional living which decreases malnutrition in the communities.
